How much IT:A hw have you done this year?
BlueYoHo:
I've almost been neglected IT this year... Besides working on my prototype site leading up to the SAC, I haven't done any work for it at all.
I'm just curious as to how much study other people are doing for this subject.
And for the people who've done this subject already, did you guys do a lot of regular study? Or was it just cram before the exam. I know that's not good for any subject, but I'm a tech-savy guy so I'd like to think I know a fair bit already... :P
Of course I will study like a week before a SAC and will designate time for study at the end of the year.
ell:
Not much, but regular enough to keep the content fresh in my mind. Sometimes I'd feel guilty for neglecting it (like how you're feeling now) and I'd just add to or go over my notes.
Don't go overboard with SACs, but make sure you do at least one practice SAC and you should be fine.
Being tech-savvy will give you an upper hand for only some of the questions. If anything, common sense will help you the most in the exam.
You could probably get away with cramming last minute and still get a decent score, especially with a subject like ITA. A consistent workload spread throughout the year would give you a better chance of getting a more-than-decent score, though.
TonyHem:
haha honestly, just did the IT:A text book questions over the year and finished that in term 3. Then just checkpoints + prac exams on the last 3 weeks before the exam. IMO - It:a barely needs any work :p
Glockmeister:
IT:A was my bludge subject tbh
kurrymuncher:
havent done anything, except cram before sacs. lol I got a database sac tomorow and I have no idea what a query is lol
