Very harshly. You need to be extremely fluent with your art terminology and ability to interpret from images. You also must have an extensive knowledge of the galleries that you've visited and also specific examples for definitions.

I believe ranking comes into play with folios, in order to maintain a good mark on your folio you must achieve a good mark on your end of year exam. It is very daunting, however if you put your head down now and study hard, you should have no problems acing the exam!
