What do you guys feel is the best type of pencil to render with? I've been advised not to use "Faber Castell's" watercolour pencil but instead their normal classic colour pencils..
Also a set of grey pencils? Would like some advice on what works well and what previous students used if possible! cheers

Polychromos are wonderful! I use them for my rendering. I bring 2 - 3 grey leads as well. I think Faber Castell are overall a good brand to use.

No need to 'duh' me. I was just trying to help out the original poster.

Doesn't say you're not allowed.

If its not specified on the front cover you will not be allowed to bring it in. I have read that some have had them confiscated in the past.

In my experience as a VCD teacher it is better to bring set squares, a compass and a protractor.
