Distinguish between the purpose of civil and criminal pre-trial procedures. How do you distinguish?

I'm not sure if what you're looking for is so simple, but distinguish just means give differences.
✌️just do what makes you happy ✌️

If it helps, the purpose of civil pre-trial procedures is to restore the plaintiff to their original position, and compensate them for any damage caused by the defendant.

For the purpose of criminal pre-trial procedures, remember to five aims of sanctioning: punishment, deterrence, protection of the community, rehabilitation and denunciation.
