Nah

It's great to set goals at this time of year, but why not aim for 80/80 instead of 72? :)

Well of course Im aiming for 80/80 man, but I like to do the worst case scenario, so that I don't get too disappointed when I get my result. Know what I mean? I mean it's not like im sitting here and saying I need 72/80, no more no less. But honestly isn't 80/80 depending on the luck of the day, like the difficulty of the exam?

^It's impossible for us to know given your SAC marks alone (these get adjusted), but considering that you said you're still rank 2 then it is definitely possible to get a fifty. If the person ranked 1 messes up the exam, this possibility is diminished. However, it is a) unlikely for someone ranked 1 to mess up an exam that badly and b) still possible for you to get back to rank 1. Best of luck for the rest of the year!

I'm rank 1

Currently my SAC scores are:

Core SAC 1: 100%
Core SAC 2: 95%
Matrices: 99%

Do you think i can still get a 50? despite the percentage lost in CORE sac 2 and Matrices?
[2015] Further Maths Aim: 50
[2016] English Aim: 35+, Chemistry Aim: 40, Physics Aim: 40, Specialist Maths Aim: 40. Math Methods Aim: 40

Hopefully you and I achieve our goals!

Definitely, you're rank 1 that's all that matters as far as sacs go. Even then, 50 is still possible even if you're not rank one, e.g. two years ago at my school someone got a 50 who wasn't rank one (and the person who did get rank one didn't, he got 47iirc), meaning chances are she did it without 100 scaled sacs.

Thanks for that man, hopefully i can retain rank 1 throughout the year and smash exams :)

Sacs first semester: 75%
Sacs second semester: 85%
Exam: mid a+

By 'mid A+' you mean about 100/110 you'll get about 43-44 if your sacs don't scale
