What do I need to get in the final exam to get the following SS?
35 in English
Average in strong cohort (15 students got over 40)

40 in Chemistry
Above Average in strong cohort (25+ students got over 40)

37 in Spesh
Above Average in strong cohort (10 students got over 40)

35 in Physics
Average in strong cohort (15 students got over 40)

30 in Accounting
Average in weakish cohort (no 40+)

as far as I know to get a 40 (which is the top ~9%), you'd be looking at an average mark of 8/10

Question - if, say, I was having a bit of an existential crisis at the time of the GAT and decided I wouldn't do the English section because I couldn't be bothered, will this destroy my English SS? I'm averaging A's and I'm expecting a low A on the exam, just for reference.

Doubt it - from my understanding, your GAT score can only pull your mark up, not down

Phew. Honestly the whole system is so confusing!! I guess it stops people finding loopholes though

Hey, could someone tell me what sort of study scores I'll get with these marks:

English: Rank 1-2/30 in weak cohort, SAC average Unit 3 was ~85%, Unit 4 ~95%, hoping for ~42/60 in the exam
Methods: Rank 2/15 in average cohort (rank 1 is a machine), Sac mark is 94/100, 36/40 Exam 1, 120/160 Exam 2
Spesh: Rank 3/10 in a strong cohort (top 2 are expecting 40+ raw), Sac mark 77/100, Exam 1 32/40, Exam 2 112/160
German: Rank 1/8 in strong cohort, Unit 3 SAC mark 98%, Unit 4 SAC mark 98%, no idea for the exam (maybe like 80%? Only done 1 german praccy exam at this point)
Chemistry: Rank 2/15 in decent cohort, Unit 3 SAC mark 90%, Unit 4 85%, expecting about 80-85% on the exam
