HYPOFRONTALITY. (Schizophrenia)

I have this info from the Grivas book:

One common finding on the brain in regards to schizophrenia is that schizophrenics often have a significantly reduced level of brain activity in the frontal lobes, as compared to control group participants. This was isolated to the prefrontal area and this reduced level of activity is called HYPOFRONTALITY. The reasons for hypofrontality in schizophrenics remains unclear but one common explanation is that the neurons of in the frontal cortex of  people with schizophrenia tend to have less bushier dendrites, which may contribute to a less active prefrontal cortex.

But I was wondering if anyone else who uses a different textbook has anything else on it?
Or is that all we need to know?

hmm, few more things perhaps:

* biological contributing factor (also regarded as psychological contributing factor)
* enlarged ventricles/large fluid filled spaces
* cognitive impairments that occur as a result (how does this link to psychological factors etc...)
