Number Patterns question

I was just wondering whether anyone knew a quicker way of working this out instead of writing up a table until you get the correct amount of years which can be quite time-consuming and annoying in an exam?

Best way of doing this is using Lists and Spreadsheets by Generating the Sequences side-by-side:


Then find when Deer exceed Cows:




Can't get much faster then that, it took me about 40 seconds, maybe less.

Yeah I guess so, but what did you write in the formula box to generate the sequences?
