Folio mark

Hi everyone,

I know that folios are marked by your personal teacher, but is there really no external person that marks your folio too?
Art is really subjective, so I'm kind of confused/worried as to how everything will pan out :(

So is there really no third person that ensures that work is marked based on quality and not personal preference?

Well, it all depends on where your school is and the schools decisions. My school is rural so it didn't want external examiners to come out all the way to Kilmore, so we have a board of teachers and our folios get marked thoroughly. Mine got cross-marked six times I believe.

I'm so worried now. I had a little disagreement with my teacher about something artistic - which involved personal preference. I really hope she wont mark me down :(

She can't mark you down if it fits the criteria!
