Anyone have any sample Language Analysis for last year's exam - "The Power of Ink"? Cos VCAA doesn't have a sample and I just wanted to compare to see where I'm at.

Thanks

Don't worry about it.. It was the worst written LA ever in the history of English. You will get more out of doing practice exams from companies IMO

It was linked somewhere here on the forums. Let me find it for you.

E: It is copyright, isn't it? Better not, actually.

You can use the original article: http://www.theage.com.au/opinion/society-and-culture/tats-lose-lustre-in-long-march-to-fashion-foible-20100922-15mwi.html
Instead of the copyrighted piece of crap. The original is easier to analyse, by the way.

The actual article is ok... I just don't like the comments at the end.
Tbh, don't think they'll have those random comments this year for our one, since in the examiners report they said you didn't need to include the comments in your analysis.

Well I reckon that you do need to make reference to at least one of the comments, as the task is how do the points of view position the reader

My teacher has said if they do include other opinions in this years, at least make reference to one? Even as a point of contrast?
