I'm 100% sure you can write on the text that you taught yourself.

I could be wrong but i don't think the examiners know what school you are from, so you are free to write on whatever texts and contexts you choose.

Just "Shade the box of the text you have selected" and go for your life!

Nope, examiners won't know what school you're from. I don't even think they'll know you're name.
If you're really comfortable with this text, just do it :D
