Question for the exam NEED ANSWER ASAP!

I was wondering if you can choose any module you like in the exam even if you haven't studied that same one in class?
I want to do trig and number patterns instead of business maths, and I've asked my teacher and he hasn't responded after 3 days....

And if you can do that and I do it for exam 1, does that mean I have to do the same modules in exam 2? Or can I choose any of them I want?

Thanks!

you can do whichever module you like on the exam, but I highly recommend you stick the modules you've done in class.

You can choose what ever modules you like however what ever first 3 you answer will be the ones you asses,
Personally it would be a really bad idea to do a module you haven't studied through the year.
Each exam is marked on its own merits and exam one is not taken into account, you can do different modules.

You alos mention you want to do two modules (Trig and Number patterns) over just business... if you do this then that would mean you would be doing 4 modules, (just from how it sounds like you have written it) If you answer 1,2,4,5 for example they will only mark 1,2 and 4. they wont pay any attention to 5
So do the 3 you have studied all year! my advice anyway! :)

Good luck!

Sorry I meant trig and geo!

I studied exactly the same course for trig last year in advanced maths and it was easily my strongest module (dropped 2 marks over the last 4 vcaa exams). Business seems to just be a bit dodgy in the way they ask the questions sometimes. I just find trig a lot more simple and straight forward.

haha thats alright! well I cant decide for you but personally I would still do what you have learnt this year, simple common errors can be made if you do the same work with a year off eg: Using sine instead of co sine and mixing up elevation and depression.
Just my two cents! haha
It's your choice in the end! :)
