how is the answer 7? shouldnt the answer be 8 if u go down the route at the very bottom which is 8 , 9 and 10 meaning 8 students get past?

This is Question 3. of the Networks section, yeah?
I think the wording of the question implies they all start on a train, so 2 of them aren't left behind at the start, and so they have to go on the edge with weighting 11. And obviously if they all have to go on one train only 7 will be able to get passed.
