Should i do extension maths (Melb)???
(1/1)
atar92point4:
I am very interested in doing Extension maths at Melbourne uni but not sure if i would be able to handle the difficulty
the only maths i have done is Methods 1&2 and selected specialist next year.
Is Methods 1&2 enough for me understand what is going to be taught
Thanks in advance
Chease:
Nope; pretty much none of methods will help.
It's like a completely different maths subject. Do it if you enjoy maths or experience the THRILL of solving amazingly beautiful maths problems.
TrueTears:
you should definitely do it if you like maths, ofcourse, methods and specialist pave the foundations to uni maths, although the topics may be completely different but it is the mathematical reasoning and general mathematical maturity that will transfer over.
Azerel:
If you have a love for math and enjoy the subject then ofcourse - you should try!
However, I hear it is quite the burden carrying a uni subject on top of 3/4s
