EXAM THOUGHTS????

(1/6) > >>

pas0005:
How did everyone go? In my opinion, it was mean!!!

What did people write for aesthetic qualities, art elements and style?

Also, what about the copyright part. Did anyone get fooled and forget to notice that it was made prior to the copyright act of 1968-therefore copyright was not applicable. This also applies to Moral rights given that both were made prior to December 2000.

Yendall:
I thought it was fair!

Aesthetic Qualities are a mixture of elements and principles of art to convey a meaning, or something along those lines.
Art Elements are the foundation of artworks and define characteristics and style. I also listed all the elements.
I said style was a subset of uniqueness that employs an artists own innovative and creative mind embracing forms of individualism. I also said it can be interpreted as a genre or technique such as Expressionism, Impressionism, Romanticism etc.

The copyright act actually works for all art. Art prior to 1968 can still be applicable for Copyright, and same goes for Moral Rights.

pas0005:
Hmm I said something along those lines but I don't think copyright, the legislation that is, will effect the artworks. Nor would moral rights which is a very new concept. Or do you mean copyright as a notion?

superslyguy:
when u define aesthetic qualities, do you have to mention the use of techniques and materials too?

pas0005:
Nope, wouldn't think so. You could mention it but it wouldn't effect your marks. They asked for a brief description so it doesn't have to  include everything, just the main factors.
