I haven't done units 1, is it okay if i do unit 2? Will I be at a disadvantage?

Unit 1 is not a prerequisite for Unit 2. The material in Unit 2 will be different so you will not be at a disadvantage.

Apart from when it comes up next year. But even then, you learn things from scratch really.

Excuse my bad memory thought unit 1 was motion and electricity, but that's unit 2 isn't it...

Lol yeah you should be fine, like TT said that stuff's pretty useless.

I'm pretty sure its changed around ppl. Unit 1 is now electricity + nuclear physics and radioactivity and Unit 2 is Motion and Light. So I would recommend you read the electricity section of Unit 1 because most of that is covered in Unit 3 in one page so a good foundation would be pretty useful.

And the nuclear stuff despite being useless was pretty interesting so if you like physics you can read that too :)
