Motor Program (plan of action) - The goal and sequencing of a motor skill. e.g. Tennis Serve
Motor Skill - An act or task that has a goal to achieve and that requires voluntary body or limb movement to be properly performed (Grip, Ball Toss etc.)
Sub-routine - a combination of motor skills all put into one consecutive movement e.g. Grip, Stance, Ball Toss, Back swing, Forward swing, ball contact, follow-through (all in order)

Hope that helps :)
