English SAC Score Importance

So, my English teacher is pretty crap. It seems she's decided which students get what scores, regardless of how well they write in each individual SAC. I'm on about 85% so far.
My question is: If I end up with an average of 85% (which will put me somewhere in the top 10-20% of my relatively small cohort) will I still be able to get a 40+ if I get 3 x A+ in the final exams?
