I can't imagine what you're going through, but I can definitely say that you should push aside all your academic concerns for the time being and just try your best to recover.
If it helps, during year 11 orientation I wasn't even enrolled in psych 3/4.. I was doing bio 3/4 orientation. I even bought my bio books and thought that there was no way in hell I'd even consider doing psych! Even though my sister had all the books and resources needed for psych, I sold them all to a friend doing psych 3/4.. Then a few weeks into the holidays, I just woke up one day and suddenly developed a HUGE interest to psych 3/4. Even then, I called my school up and they said it was ok, told me the hw I had to do, etc.. But I didn't have a book or anything! By the time I got the book (which I needed for practically ALL my homework: Research methods), I was too busy packing to go overseas. I took my stuff with me overseas, but I didn't touch anything haha because I just couldn't be stuffed and wanted a proper holiday! I legit started and finished my homework in the ~5 days I had between coming back to Melbourne and the first day of school, ~3 days of which were taken up by the jetlag, homesickness and visits by family friends that basically gave me an excuse to put off my homework for a little longer!
Honestly, I only began to put in the hard yards a week before my first SAC, which I somehow pulled off a 93% in (and even more surprisingly, it was the highest in the class haha!).
Hahah I don't know if that story was useful to you, but the moral is that holidays don't really matter for a subject like psych.. neither does orientation. If anything, they make up the tiniest little percentage, but they still don't really help. Oh, and let me also add, people underestimated my ability too! So many mocked me for making such a last minute change, implying that I'd regret it in the end because I had no time to prepare! Just ignore those people, they should only make you more determined to do well! The most important thing is preparation for sacs and making sure you secure a rank within the top 5.
And, you've still got plenty of time for that. Even pushing that aside, you don't even have midyears so even if you dismiss the first term or so of this year, you still have a lot of time to work on doing well in psych! Also, try and set an aim ASAP.. At the start of the year, I told myself that I just wanted a 30+, which increased to a 35+ and a few weeks before the unit 4 exam, became a 40+.. Never did I aim for 45+, but I know if I had that aim from the beginning of the year I could've scored myself the extra 3 study score points needed for a perfect score! That's not to say I'm regretful of my mark, but if you want to aim high, do so from now! And I see you've already set yourself that aim, which already puts you ahead of all those nasties who may be thinking otherwise! The fact that you're even on here asking this already improves your chances of getting 45+
