Very very serious pre requisite problem?

Hey people,

most if not all of the courses i put in as my preferences required a 25 in any mathematics

I only did 1 math (methods) and i did terribly and i think i would get between 22-27

if i get below 25, does this mean i cant do anything?

Unfortunately, yes. You'll just have to hope that you get a 25+ in maths.
I'm having the same problem with literature. I only wrote 500 words for one essay and 400 words for the other, now I'm worried that I won't get a 25 in that subject.

Put something on your preferences that doesn't have the 25 in methods as a prerequisite.  You can change your preferences after you get your results, so maybe you can wait until you know for sure, but have a think about some alternatives anyway.

usually subjects that ask for any maths above 25 dont rely on maths so i reckon you should still apply for them nevertheless and see your luck. Usually if it is so important they would offer a bridging course.

There's next to no hope (I've seen people rejected with 24 aw) if you don't make the 25 pre-req. Best bet is to apply for a course (ie. add to VTAC prefs) that doesn't have the pre-req and then transfer after a semester or two.

Having said that, I'd still have your most preferred courses right at the top of your VTAC app, just in case you do snatch that 25 SS.
