Hi guys,
I'm also doing 2 Unit 3 and 4 subjects this year. I think Further Maths is really easy to lose marks. I got like 18/20 for my first SAC :( . I'm not sure if I can get a 45 for Further anymore. Can someone give me any advice ( about time management, etc ...)

Thank you

Firstly, I'm not exactly experienced but I'm preetty sure you're still in the running for a study score of 45. But its hard to judge since it also depends on your school and ranking.

Can someone give me any advice ( about time management, etc ...)
That's a really broad question, best thing I think is to just visit a lot of the stickied threads (if you haven't already) like

Motivation Corner!
and
Paul's Year 12 Survival Guide in 1000 Words :)
and
Further Mathematics Resources
... a couple out of heaps that I think might be useful for you.

and people with the same troubles as you
i stuffed up my first further sac advice?

etc etc.

So basically go through the forums and you'll find so much useful stuff

And, if theres something specific you're looking for, you can do a quick search in the forums or ask again. :)

Yeep, I believe the ranking is one of the strongest points, as long as you rank well you should be fine, even if you got a lower score and everyone else got a lower score, that just shows the your SAC may have been very hard (in general, further SAC's can come down to silly errors) and VCAA can't penalise you for that in your cohort.
I'm about to get my SAC results back for my first one, hopefully I've done alright =)

It ultimately comes back to your ranking. I'm not too worried about the RAW score I obtain for SACs, just so long as my SAC ranking is #1. You don't have to get 100%.. I mean, for Further Maths, I'm currently on 100% average at 2 SACs. Bio I'm only on 88%, but I'm no. 1. Remember, ranking is imperative; not your ACTUAL sac mark!

Good luck!

don't worry about it, I dropped two marks on my first SAC as well and ended up doing fine.

In a way, SAC marks are vital. Say you just scored 88% in biology then bungle your next SAC, you could lose your rank, however if you had scored 100% in that first SAC, you might still be ranked 1st. I'm ranked 1st in a subject, however, I feel precarious about my position. That's just how I see it.

Hope this makes sense  :D

I did well on my 2nd enzyme SAC; however, the mark after my mark was 75%. So I got 88% as first!

WHO'S EAGER FOR VCE?

No one, probably. But I think we're lucky to have found AN so early on, since it's been so helpful for everyone else.

Nice to meet everybody!

EDIT: Can the natmods please move this to the VCE forums?
EDIT: If you think it needs to be :)

:D

I AM EAGER FOR VCE!
