English will be my demise.
i know this feeling. i just don't feel prepared enough for it, and i'm kinda worried that i'll run out of time or end up being thrown completely by a prompt. i just legitimately don't feel like i'm going to do well on this exam, which sucks cos english is meant to be my best subject :-\

although on that note, my friend's sister got a 50 in english, and her advice was this:
"u gotta go to bed thinking "im so great im going to ace this" and then u wake up thinking about how great u are and how ur gonna smash it in the face and then u sit at ur desk and before u start u pause and think "im so great i will kill this english exam" and then u need to kill the english exam"

so from here on i'm thinking positively :P

Are you guys going to write essays tomorrow?

I didn't write anything today. Only did a methods exam 2 to relax myself. Is it bad to do English the day before the exam?

Meh I'm going to do some. I won't do anything on Wednesday morning before the exam though. I'll probably just go over quotes and some terms to use in LA.

I think I'll do well in Language Analysis unless it is the most boring article ever or if it is comparative or something.

Whose reality it depends on the day. I could do well or I could do terribly. It depends on what I could pull out of my ass on the spot.

Text Response it depends on the prompt. I've covered very little in terms of themes as it is a book of poetry and war, and if something like 'beauty' comes up or 'condemning the advertisers of the war' then I will die. If they were anything like last years prompts then I'll do well.

Tomorrow I'll be reading over essays for text response, typing out some of my context pieces for memorisation (base essays) and read over LA phrases/tone lists/practice essays, and maybe just construct plans for some LA. 5PM = stop studying for English. Time to zone out and just relax for a big day ahead.

My dad passed away unexpectedly last night.. I can't deal with anything right now and exams are the least of my worries. I just keep crying. I want my dad back :'(

Oh my days :( Be strong and make your dad proud! My condolences and prayers are with you. If you want to talk about it,  inbox me,  I know the sick gut feeling you get when a loved one passes away. :(

Lol who would do some the morning before the exam?. Even teachers say writing an essay the night before is crazy. Going to be looking over quotes and my examples for section B.

Wilfred Owen? i highly doubt "beauty" would come up. If it's about authorities then hell yeah!

I plan to do plans (pun intended) for English, because I am comfortable writing whole pieces. I am going to read and annotate a few comparative articles and read parts of my Section A book I'm still a bit sketchy about. I'm also going to go over my external examples for Whose Reality

I feel ready for English, and I'm really glad about this. English has been my all-time favourite subject and hopefully my score can reflect that. I just know that I need to trust in the fact that by 5PM tomorrow, I have done all I can, because I feel like in English there is no such thing as being 100% confident (for me personally).

This sums up my feelings exactly. I went through a few things with my teacher today, and he said "you'll write very well on Wednesday and all your hard work will pay off." I responded with "hopefully" and he said "don't hope, because you'll do well". Yeah, nice little lunch time pep talk, haha.

I feel like I should know that I have done all I can, but I also feel like there's always more that could have been done. I really just want to get over 40+ with English, because I feel like that would justify all the extra work I've done (and it would make up for all the extra work I've caused my teacher this year).

You'd be surprised. There have been plenty of whack essays on beauty. I'm going to study some advertisers of the war poems tomorrow and if its on some weird question then I'll just throw my hands up in the air during the exam and give up.

As there are so many texts, do they all have to be relative in difficulty?

I want to feel like this but I know that it's dangerous. If I go in on Wednesday, come out feeling good and am then disappointed I'll be destroyed. I guess it's like setting myself up for failure by assuming that my hard work will definitely pay off (which it doesn't always).
