Don't lose motivation! We're at a stage of this year where we're being bombarded with SACs, let alone the mere thought of exams which are rapidly approaching! We're going to start doubting ourselves, and it's important to remember that we've got a little bit to go and then we're done. Let's make the 13 years of education count, so that on 15 Dec, we can say 'it paid off'! We're all in the same boat! You can do it! In less than 5 months, it'll all be done!!
+1, thanks Yacoubb :)
2013-2014:| VCE
2015-2018:| Bachelor of Science (Neuroscience) @ UoM
2019-X:| Doctor of Dental Surgery (discontinued)
2019 -2021:| Master of Physiotherapy

Currently: Physiotherapist working at a musculoskeletal clinic. Back pain, sore neck, headaches or any other pain limiting your study? Give me a PM (although please do see your personal health professional first!)

Any questions related to pathways towards studying dentistry or physiotherapy? Gimmi a PM!

Thanks for the +1, and honestly I feel exactly the same. I'm beginning to question my capabilities - but instead of letting that drag me down, we should use it as motivation and go forwards! Let's kick VCE in the butt! :)

My greatest concern about the GAT tomorrow is how I'm going  not be able to eat for 3 hours, haha.

Last year I ate so much before hand and 10 minutes into reading time my stomach starting rumbling -.-

Don't worry it won't be that bad :). Just a 'general achievement' exam. What I'm most scared about, is freezing to death in the gym D:.

My goal for the gat is to just write and not over think things like I tend to do. As long as I have a go (:
I'm more stressed over all of these sac's and practice exams!! I had a sac for every subject last week including a 6 period maths sac and I still have one more to go  >:(
I can't believe how many pages this thread has gained, I haven't been on atarnotes much this year

VERY worried. I seem to have a 'don't give a damn' attitude lapsing into my fragile mentality.

E.g. studied heaps for Further Maths and was quite pumped for it and when I got to the last question about the four point moving average and/or centred or whatever it was I failed to comprehend, in that moment, I just didn't give a damn about school anymore...

After the Maths SAC, instead of studying for English or another Maths SAC on Thursday, I went to the school library and printed off potential courses I am interested in and instead went to my careers advisor on some clarification. Priorities gone astray?

Also today I went to my politics teacher and asked where I could improve and how I was disappointed with my marks - he just said I should control what I can control, that I am underestimating myself and should not worry about anything else. I wanted to know what the top students were doing years previous, and spent 40 minutes talking to my teacher about this. Waste of energy?

People who hardly studied before and are now trying to a degree, are being Albert Einstein's and coming up with new and effective ways of getting fantastic objective marks, which supersede my own which has been built on the foundation of a strong work ethic from about Year 7 1/2 onwards.

I and my politics teacher are getting disappointed with my application of energies towards certain subject matters.

I seem to find it hard to concentrate fully, with all the external VCE pressure/competition going on at the moment. E.g. students wanting me to fail in Business Management...

Numerous factors which are out of my control and yet I cannot stop worrying about them... It's like I am the only one thinking about these things...

Hahaha we have heaters too. I tend to burst into laughter whenever someone sneezes whenever our year level has exams. Looks like I'll be in hysterics tomorrow hahaha

Is it true that you're allowed to leave the GAT room if you finish early?
