Well we do the gat in classrooms, but no doubt we will be frozen by the end of it due to our stingy school not being willing to ensure all of the heaters work properly. Might I add, there are some classrooms WITHOUT heaters and guess who has to use one of those rooms? One of my classes. arrrrgh. Perks of government schools.

Yes. You can leave after the first half hour of writing time up until the last 5 minutes. Though, last year I was told you couldn't leave in the last fifteen. I wouldn't recommend it though to be honest, those multiple choice questions should keep you busy.

At least I won't have to worry about pneumonia during the gat. Last year my school rented/borrowed the rooms of this fancy little corporate building across the road from my school for the gat and the same arrangement has been made this year. Underfloor heating and chairs that aren't plastic, yay! The joys of going to a school with terrible facilities (:

Last year I sat next to a guy who most likely skipped breakfast. After 1.5 hours from commencement of the GAT, a volcanic eruption resonated within the back corner of the hall because of his stomach. It kept happening at frequent intervals so I capitalised on the opportunity and made him my clock :P
