Aforementioned by many users thus far, how are you approaching the holidays in terms of work etc?

I had to complete this religion assignment which doesn't even go towards the ATAR...

Yesterday, I was doing some Business Management revision sheets (after a good week or two of mild work) and afterwards I still felt lethargic (that burning out kind of feeling).

I am going to some lectures and planning to rest as much as I possibly can, in preparation for the crazy Unit 4 avalanche of SACs coupled with the terrifying tsunami of end of year exams.

What type of rest can I acquaint myself with to make sure I am mentally fresh in these important months coming up?

Normally, I drive myself 'into the ground' (excuse the lousy expression) with the amount of work that I do. I am only beginning to realise certain study techniques which work for me. In Unit 4, I think this experience will benefit me.

So I have to take an adequate rest, whilst trying to not think about school so much. Any tips?

Am I the only one feeling tired? I suspect the worst for myself come the end of year...

Trying to maintain my sleep patterns as much as possible (sleep until 8 now I don't have to travel to school). I'm going to try and do at least an hour of each of my subjects a day with the set work I still have left (English, Lit and Bio ) until I finish the set work (which I hope to get done by the end of this week).

Revision will begin second week, but I'm not planning to over do it. Hopefully, I can identify what areas I'm very comfortable with and write a checklist of all the weaker areas and break it down like that.

I understand about "holiday brain". My coordinator was stressing to us how important is was that we maintain exact school routine during the holidays, but that's totally unachievable for me.

4 x 80 minute blocks of study a day like I would at school? No thank you.

My brain can manage an hour at a time before I need a break. Otherwise I feel like I'm not productive for the last twenty minutes. Like I'm still maintaining routine by being in bed at 10 and awake at a reasonable time, but I think keeping complete routine is unhealthy, because even though we are supposed to work these holidays, we also do need a break from school.

In other news I've still had a food theme for my holidays so far. I made a delicious homemade custard tart yesterday from scratch and went out for coffee and cake today. Then work tomorrow, Friday and Saturday. In a cafe. Surrounded by even more food.

#YEAR12BELLY (hasn't happened yet because I actually now have time to go for a couple of runs a day because I'm not at school, haha)

My sleep patterns are stuffed up... I just slept in as much as possible, I was so sleep deprived on the last school day of term, I was fighting to keep my eyes up.

I'm going to bed at like 12, but sleeping at about 3am. And then I wake up at about 12pm. Mines so stuffed, and it happened so quickly, want my old sleeping pattern back ;'(

Holidays have been perfect. Study times have been great, sleeping better. Libary study is the best study fyi, can sit up there for hours on end.

I am a horrible sleeper, I constantly think too much which hinders my ability to sleep effectively.

For instance, I went to sleep at 5:00AM... Woke up at like 2:00PM, then went back to sleep at 4 - 6.

Granted, I was following the tennis match between Kyrgios and Nadal, but I tryed to go to sleep but couldn't.

First world problems.

Doesn't help that I am failing Further Maths either... Hopefully I can start well with Bus. Man on the first week and get the confidence going from then on.
