I was just having a quiet thought to myself of how much of a lunatic I am. I will be so happy to have VCE over. I'm not burnt out or anything because I do nothing I just can't wait to have academics not be the central thing hanging over my head in my life with all eyes on me. It kind of sucks because I don't think my parents care that much about my ATAR as long as I get into whatever course I want, and I'm pretty much the same ... but I have no clue if I'm actually going to get there .. and it shouldn't be that hard by any means.

Started off the year thinking a 99 would be easy. Slowly it crept down to around a 90, now if I get 84ish I would be happy but not really because it's not the course I want to do. I need 30's in all my subjects and a 45 in my only good subject which doesn't even get me it. fml. I'll have to start holiday homework tomorrow as well.

Why did you start off the year believing in a 99 but have lost faith now?
Sure academics plays a role in ATARs but if you have the mindset that you cannot acchieve well, then you won't.
What do you feel is stopping you for aiming for a 99+? If it is confidence, you need only look at your AN profile to see how much confidence you originally had with VCE. It is much better to push for a nearly impossible goal then to rest and not try for something much easier. Based on the calliber of your previous posts and the work ethic you have described, I do not doubt that you will achieve a 90+ATAR. You need to start believing in your prospects if you wish to uphold them.

This week is not going to be too bad for a first week back.

Today - finished early because I had a study period last
Tomorrow - finish early again because I have another study period last
Friday - no school because it's a student free day.

And next week I have two excursions. One for a band performance and another for Bio to Melbourne Uni.
