But yeah, Glen Waverly and Balwyn get crazy results - they do well every year and I think it's crazy that house prices rise in that area as a result.

I used to live in Balwyn, fk the house price have risen so much over the past 5 years it is not even funny. Those who invest there would of made heaps of money -.- it is not even worth it tbh, if you can afford a house there, you may as well send your kids to private schools IMO. So much Asians there too, haha. Not a good study environment there at BHS from what I experinced.

I feel like there is a big difference between getting say a 95 at a private/catholic school compared to getting a 95 at a non selective  public school but that's just the way things are. And that's why things like SEAS exist.
Remember that there are private school kids like me that never even went to class and learnt everything themselves. I've been to both a public school and private school (~$30,000) and the former was easily better within every regard.

Highest english score at our school was 35  ;) Thats with a cohort of 65 people and ALL are taking english haha. Not going to lie our school has some serious problems with english. Dux was 93 too.

Yeah but not everyone can learn everything on their own and all I meant was that it's usually harder.

Hey guys - I'm back ! :)

Okay, so I'm in a bit of a jam regarding preferences. I'm torn between doing a Bach. of Nutrition Science and then competing a Master of Dietetics to become a dietitian. OR doing a Bach. of Arts with a major in psych and then transferring into the Bach. of Psych in second year and then completing a Master of Teaching followed by a year internship to become a secondary school teacher. Can anyone provide some information on both options and help a very confused girl out ?! Much thanks :)

LOL so true.

sjayne,  my former school have better teachers, at my new school I tend to learn by myself.
Ask any teacher at school I'm the one that gets distracted and do nothing in class LOL.
But then again, I hate the classroom environment, i'd rather study when I feel like it, not when Im forced to 9-5... Way more effective that way too.
