Well done Bluegirl! Could never, ever imagine achieving anything as good as 90+ after something like that happening.

For anyone who needs help deciding between degrees etc, I recommend posting here - it's a very active forum that has lots of people doing degrees as well as people who have been finished for 20+ years. You'll get a string of answers within a day or two, promise

On another note, had anyone added their teachers on Facebook ?? I got some come up on my recommended friends list so I figured what the heck and just a request haha. Kind of unsure about that move right now..especially as some of you may know already but I don't have a conventional name on Facebook

I've added a few teachers from high school in the past few years, they all seem to be fine with being friends with students on facebook, if they weren't, they wouldn't have accepted your request in the first place  If they don't accept your request, just remember it is very unlikely that you'll see them again, unless you visit them intentionally of course

I agree..most seem to be. But I personally find it a bit weird..like to me adding a teacher means they have gone from teacher to friend. And although they aren't your teachers anymore, I definitely don't think they are your friend.

Just a reminder, if you any of you haven't realised, when tertiary offers come out mid Jan, Herald Sun receives permission from you via VTAC in regards to publishing your round 1 offer. If you guys don't want your info such as your surname, first name and postcode published, just log into VTAC user account  -->course application tab--> course preferences-->"newspaper offer publication choice" and choose yes or no.
