Pretty much, the domain of line 1 (as required by your teacher) would be 'x = -22' and the range would be '9 ≤ y ≤ 16'

At least, that's how I'm understanding it;

{x:x=12} is just another way of saying 'x=12' in regards to a domain; it's notation that you'd come across in methods and spec

range = how high it is (y axis, bottom to top)
domain = how wide it is (x axis, left to right)
