When and how (is everyone going)?
chansthename:
I'd highly recommend driving up or getting driven up. Parking might be a little hard if you don't want to pay for it at your accommodation (UL charges way too much). What I did was drove up and took all my stuff then drove home and went back by bus a few days later. This is usually still cheaper than paying some service to move your stuff.

My parents will be away when I go up so I'll probably have to make two trips by bus, hmmm.
Art Vandelay:
just got an offer letter for Ursula Hall. just a heads up, for ursula hall at least, you have to pay the registration fees/deposit/and two weeks rent in 48 hours. it came to around $1500 all up.
Jenny_2108:
My only option is flying but they limit the weight of luggages :( :( :(
Does anyone know any services to transport boxes and stuff from Mel to Canberra?
Fyrefly:
I'm confused at what you guys mean by needing to take "boxes of stuff"... I've lived both abroad and interstate for decent stints, and both times I only needed a suitcase. Unless you can't leave your stuff in the family home, there's really no reason why you need to take *everything* with you interstate.
