Undergrad majors for postgrad studies

Hello all, I was wondering if I should major in chem or biochem for my undergrad science degree.
Firstly, an undergrad biochem major will not allow me to do a postgrad chemistry major which then only leaves (in my situation) postgrad biomedical & health sciences.
However if I take an undergrad chem major, could that possibly lead me to postgrad chem OR biomedical & health sciences?

I don't really get what you are trying to ask here.

First of all for professional health science postgraduate degrees, regardless of your major, if you complete the pre-requisite subjects of anatomy, physiology and biochemistry you are eligible for entry.

However, a chem major will put you in good stead for honours or a masters or something that is chemistry related.

You are in first year. You seem to have a vague idea of the path you want to take ie) Chemistry/Life Sciences. So a decision can be made at the start of 2nd year.
