Finished my last SAC today  OMG OMG OMG!!! :D
Haha it's an exciting moment isn't it?  :P
I finished them last term but teachers have been finalising our coursework scores.. So now they're telling us our final mark, our rank and (scarily) the study score range they're predicting we'll fall into :o

Love it how my maths and p.e teachers believe I can score around 40 and my English teacher tells us "you're all borderline 20 right now".

I'd love to know what study score range I'd fall into for English. Hopefully it's not smaller than any single-digit multiple of nine halves...

2013
English Language (50) Chemistry (50) Specialist Mathematics (49~54.9) Physics (49) UMEP Physics (96%) ATAR 99.95

2014-2016: University of Melbourne, Bachelor of Science, Diploma in Mathematical Sciences (Applied Maths)

2017-2018: Master of Science (Applied Mathematics)

2019-2024: PhD, MIT (Applied Mathematics)

Accepting students for VCE tutoring in Maths Methods, Specialist Maths and Physics! (and university maths/physics too) PM for more details

It is, I was dancing around the school like a psycho!
Oh woah, that would be so daunting to find out!! Hopefully it's not offputing at all though, because at the end of the day a hell of a lot could change from what they predict you get!

Don't listen to what your teachers say about your predicted study score. For one, they know less than jack shit and, two, it's completely irrelevant.

I honestly think if anything, predictions will just motivate me to study harder, even (and especially) if they're lower than what I aim for, because then I'll be like 'I HAVE TO PROVE TO MYSELF THAT I CAN BEAT THAT PREDICTION' lol :P

And definitely! I'd never actually take the prediction seriously because honestly, so much could happen that could change so many things, so even though they'll help to gauge how hard I need to work for the exams, I'm definitely not going to rely on them as the solid truth because anything could happen!

I still have four SACs  :'(  >:( :-\
If you don't know the answer to a question, chances are it has something to do with changing the surface area to volume ratio or resonance.

I'm not too sure whether 5/10 would get you a 30 (I read that the average is like 5.6/10) but may I ask why you're aiming so low?

A 6/10 will guarantee you a 30+ but if you push yourself just a bit harder and get that 7/10, that will get you a 35+.

Remember too, English MUST BE IN YOUR TOP FOUR.

its not that im aiming low, i just cant seem to improve.

How hard are you trying?
Are you getting shitty feedback?
