When I'm angry I procrastinate and it's never a good thing!
Do you know what pisses you off? Maybe you can try looking at these things and just thinking about whether or not they're truly worth getting worked up about. I mean, there are more important things to spend your time on than getting angry for trivial things that you'll probably forget about the next day. If it's something that you likely won't care about in a day's time, it probably isn't something worth getting annoyed or angry about. Easier said than done, I know, but food for thought.

Yeah, normally the reason you get pissed of at trivial things because you already have a ton of other things you're irritated/worried about. Getting rid of some of the latter really helps!

It's very difficult to do work when you're in a really crap mood so yeah, don't expect to be doing any study, you probably won't take as much in. Find the problem and work on ways to fix it, whether it's music, working out, or talking to someone. And if any of you would like to speak to me, just throw me a PM and I'll do my best to make you laugh! :P

When I get mad, I listen to Chopin's Raindrops. It is actually relieving. I used to listen to it quite a lot in 2012.

A lot of acoustic instruments are quite nice to listen to, piano and guitar being my favourite! :D Even nice to study to sometimes!

I've also decided for my next text response on A Christmas Carol, I'm gonna write a rap song full of quotes, and I'm gonna fit it into an instrumental and I'm going revise it in my head everyday.

Am I get a 50/50 or what?

Brilliant method of study ^.

I've also decided to write a rap song featuring the names of AN members. That's it. Just to get a bunch of names in and rhyme, that's my purpose.

I live right opposite a pretty big foresty- bush type thing, so when I'm super frustrated and angry I just grab my shoes and ruuuuuuuuuuun! It actually clears my head so much, like I'm throwing all my anger behind me and moving on :D

And Brenden must add the son (daugher in disguise... I'm like Mulan!) of Mufasa to this rap! ;D

Listening to it now! It's very relaxing. Thanks :)

My apologies if I was coming across as boastful again, I couldn't contain my excitement. :D Will try to be more thoughtful in the future. :)

Yeah, anger management is something I probably need to work on too. I'm the type of person that talks impulsively when I'm like that and say things I regret (heaps of examples over the past few weeks here - have fun looking for them :P).

Find something to to write every single thing you're angry at and that nobody else is likely to stumble upon in case whatever you say is something that's offensive (like some of mine are). It helps me to at least get them out there, without having the risk of hurting anybody if you decide to vent your frustrations out on someone. Alternatively, try listening to some calm music - I've been doing this prior to going to bed most nights now and it helps with this, as well as to stop worrying about what's happening the next day.

Hmm... Around the middle of May (Eurovision time :P), my attitude to school changed a little bit and now I'm trying to relax more and enjoy the experience (without neglecting my studies of course). I guess it's finally hit me that this year will be the last year of being a child and that I'm soon about to embark on the trials and tribulations of adulthood. I really want to savour that short time remaining. At the same time, I'm really enjoying all my subjects too and I haven't really felt like my hard work hasn't paid off yet (this is seriously my biggest fear in VCE and would probably cause me to lose a hell of a lot of motivation). There's not much I can really advise you to do other than perhaps to take some time off and reflect.

Thanks man. I'm way too negative i have to really look at the positive aspects rather than focusing solely on the negative. My parents also tell me off about this habit and always remind me to look towards the future rather continuously back at the past.

We all have our tendencies. I tend to worry about things that I don't need to worry about. There's no point fighting them, because they're a part of who you are. The trick is to learn how to deal with them and curb them at the right time and in the appropriate manner. For example, I remind myself that my anxiety tends to mean that I'm more organised and less likely to forget something, so I channel that nervous energy towards organisation in order to control my feelings of anxiety as a whole.
