I'd like to wish the best of luck to each and every one of you for your upcoming exams! It's been an absolute pleasure to be able to chat and rant to you guys over the course of the year. Thanks for all the support you've given me when the going gets rough and thanks for motivating me to get back up again! And also, thanks for making this thread I created pretty much the best thread on AN. I have a habit of making some epic threads! :P

Once again, best of luck to everyone for the upcoming weeks! Give it your all!!! :D

Finished!
I think I did well. The identity and belonging prompt was really weird for me. All of my pre prepared ideas were irrelevant so I had to think of completely new ideas and evidence. Language analysis was okay but he was arguing for the council to build a community garden and the wellbeing of people so I was a bot confused.

What was the tone??

And people were loving half way into the exam which I found absolutely selfish and irritating. It broke my trail of thought once and if possibly demotivated other students seeing their friends leave.

And how bad is illegible handwriting? My writing was pretty bad at some stages.

Sorry can't edit on my phone. Link wont work.

The relief is quite surprising. I thought that my feelings afterwards would depend on my performance in the exam, but I really don't care for the minute. lol

Wow the hay fever this morning for me was atrocious. Such a pain in the ass through section C and A (and I could totally tell I was pissing off the people around me dealing with it). I think I was just in pure shock for a minute when I realised my pills were being lazy, I woke up at 6AM to take them too.  >:(

Those without hay fever, it's an absolute privilege, believe me.

7 days till my methods, but I think I'm gonna take it easy this afternoon.

people left half way???

I mean, people would definitely leave half way for a practice English exam, but this was the real thing. I find it incredulous that some people don't care about their performance to that extent.

people left half way???

One of our invigilators GOSH

Someone left after an hour and a bit, like they have every right to, and then she goes, picks up his script book after he leaves and starts reading it.
THEN, she says out loud to everyone in the room: You're here for 3 hours, write more than 1 and a half pages.

great way not to break peoples concentrations.

The only thing that scared me about english was the language analysis, it's so unpredictable to know just how well you went. Would 3.5 pages on VCAA paper be too short? I discussed more things in depth, than to list things and try to include it all

What's with so many pages?! I did a full 2-2.5 pages for each piece at the max!

3.5 pages for LA too Edward21... it's a shame because LA has always been my strength. It's the one that I'm not meant to worry about but I'm worrying a bit now!

Don't stress, none of my pieces exceeded three pages. My writing is a bit small, but not ridiculously tiny. Doesn't matter anyways, quality over quantity!

Same, it's just so difficult to tell was I awesome or just average because for me too LA has always been a prized strength, but now I'm not entirely sure..  :-\ Hopefully if I lose a few marks on LA, I will gain more than expected for the other sections
