Animation Programs

Hello
For my Unit 4 were you have to make a short film, im deciding to do a Animation Short film but i dont know what program  or what programs are available to use, I do have pivot but thats really basic... i was hoping to do something like the youtube Starcraft Animation videos.

(this is my first post so be kind) Thanks :)

Flash would be good. The onion skin feature is similar to how you could see the previous frame(s) on Pivot.

Blender is very useful. Heaps of tutorials are available as well :)
Edit: I thought you were doing a 3d animation. Otherwise, flash is the best

Blender is awesome if you know how to use it well. It does take up a lot of time learning how to model properly, so if you're prepared to give it the time, then I'd by all means recommend it
