Interesting Speech Topics?

Hi everyone, I want to give a speech (for a competition) on a very interesting topic. Most students will be exploring current issues in the topic, I want to do something my unique. Does anyone have any suggestions? It can be simply on love, hate, a quote? What do you guys reckon?
