I also have similar issues.
Usually I'm able to plan out my essay, but after I write the topic sentence I'm lost for words.

I write extremely fast in the last 20 minutes. I remember not doing any work for the next class because my hand was so sore from pressing into the paper so hard to get those last words in. I get to finish on time, but I need to rush at the end which lowers the quality of my third paragraph.
