VCE chemistry vodcast resources avaliable

Hello,

A free vodcast has been created especially for VCE chemistry and is avaliable for streaming on youtube. This episode focus' on redox reactions as most classes should be beginning this topic in the next few weeks.

The vodcast contains theory, examples and covers all the key knowledge outlined in the VCAA Chemistry outline. This resource can help students prepare for class in advance or to be watched as revision.

Episode 3 - Redox reactions is avaliable now and others may be made avaliable if students find these videos worthwhile.

Hello,

I hope some members of the community have had a chance to watch the Episode on redox reactions. We would also value any feedback you have. Our main aim was to cover each of the VCAA points in detail regarding redox reactions.

I have attached the board notes for members to download and follow during the episode. These could be used in addition to your notes created in class.

If anyone would like to submit an answer for the challenge questions that would be great.

Please feel free top provide feedback from the Episode if you have viewed it.

I had a quick look at some parts of the video and it looks decent.

It is quite a long video, so some kind of index in the video description would be pretty helpful so that it makes skipping to the part the viewer is interested would be pretty neat, e.g.
Introduction - 0:00
Redox Chemistry Revision - 3:00
Oxidation Numbers - 10:28

and so on. That'd also give people a better idea of what you'll actually cover in the video too.
