What is the coefficient of restitution and what is the difference between that and coefficient of friction?
I googled it but couldn't find a good answer.
Thanks guys!

Coefficient of restitution is nothing similar to coefficient of friction. The coefficient of friction (µ) determines the magnitude of the friction force based on the normal force: Ffric = µN.

The coefficient of restitution describes the energy loss in a collision, it is pretty much the ratio of velocities after to velocities before. If COR = 1, then the collision is elastic, with no kinetic energy lost. If COR = 0, then the collision is perfectly inelastic, with the two objects sticking together after the collision and maximum kinetic energy being lost. Anywhere in between, some energy is lost.

I'm not actually sure if you need to know any of this. Maybe the bit on friction, but that's piss easy to remember.
