AFC1000 - Query

Hey guys,

Sorry for not browsing this forum as often as I should but I'm studying Commerce this year, at Monash, and really need some help.

I've missed the first 2 weeks of uni, due to personal circumstances, and I have emailed John Gerrand about assignments and what not.

He told me that assignments have not been handed out yet but when I check the moodle page, he has posted this 'This is the manual you will need to consult to in order to complete your MYOB part of your assignment'.

So I am very confused right now. Would anyone, who is currently doing AFC1000, enlighten me ? Has assignments been handed out?

Also, Does anyone know where the work shop is?

The location, from the moodle page, is this : CL13E Room E1 

I went to the E1 Engineering Lecture Theatre and was told that I was in AFC2000. I thought it might be building 13 but that was the Medical Building and hence, I thought that maybe E1 correlates to a point on the Clayton Map ... and it was John Monash Science School.

(Would I be deducted any marks for missing the first work shop? I could not find the place, I know cheap excuse but still)

The assignments would have been emailed to you by John Gerrard by now and I have no idea where the workshop is (I would've gone to the engineering building for E1 but it's not the right one as you say) - maybe email him explaining that you tried looking for the room?

No marks are deducted from not attending the workshop, it's just a tutorial on how to use MYOB. You also have the manual on moodle so dont fret too much if you miss it

Wow what a joke. By any chance, do you know when the assignments were handed out? I emailed on Monday about the assignments.

With workshops, I did email him what I said, building 13 = Med, Coordinates E1 = JMSS and E1 Eng Lecture Theatre but he replied that he didn't know, even though in Moodle he was the one who posted about the workshop details.

Geez, this is leaving a sour taste in my first few weeks...

If you want, I'll post up images of my emails', his replies' and the moodle.

I received my assignment yesterday via email... It was the one right before the MYOB email.
There are other workshops tomorrow... My friend couldn't find the room either!
