Eddie Cliff has written up a little blog post for Connect's VCE Feed, and I think it's really helpful to keep you on track over the 'holidays'. Happy studying!

Top stuff. I think the whole 'taking a break' thing is probably what will apply to me the most. Sleeping until 10am and then going from 10am-9pm every day without a break probably isn't healthy.

Personally I find that structuring isn't necessary during the holidays, I just like to study when I feel like it. I guess being on holidays gives me that freedom to do that. If there's any structure in my homework, I try to set aside exercises to complete within 2-3 days. That way, it gives me "slack" so I can lose/make up work time.

Yeah a lot of people have that approach - it's personally what I do, but it means you need the self discipline to work when you know you need to do work. If you lack that self discipline, structuring your day like Eddie wrote can be a lifesaver :)

Because of the amount of time and the pressure (lack of), I find that I'm getting heaps more done that I expect. If I do find that I'm slacking off, I'll know to listen to Eddie. Haha :)
