Hey there,
So if you have an equation of lets say:

[height in cm and age in years]
Height = 2.1 x age + 50     (just a random equation)

you can safely say that for every increase in age of 1 year, your height will go up by 2.1cm, when interpreting the equation.

I've linearised the data with a log(x) transformation, how would I describe it?
eg.
Height = 14.5 x log(age) + 14

I've said "For every increase by log(age), the height will go up by 14.5 cm"

Is there a way to make it sound nicer than that?

Don't say that the height "will" go up - if you say this, you'll be docked a mark. Instead, you need to use the statement "For every increase in log(age) by 1 year, the height is expected to increase by 14.5cm."

Ok, thanks for that suggestion, your "expected to increase" sounds better, I completely forgot to formalise the statement.

Also, did you mean "For every increase in log(age) by 1, the height..." not "1 year (as one year is a lot smaller in a log)"? So when the whole (log(age)) increases by 1, the height is expected to increase...
