What are you up to?

With Term 1 about to come to a close, I thought it might be a good idea to create this thread so we can compare and reference how our cohorts are travelling. It might be useful to detect whether we're ahead or behind, relative to everyone else.

We're currently on circular functions (Chapter 6 of the Essentials textbook). We skipped logs and exponentials (Chapter 5) for the time being, so I'm assuming we'll be doing this after our current topic. I had my SAC covering Chapters 1-4 two weeks ago.

Using Maths Quest, my school is making its way through chapter 4, with a SAC on chapters 1, 2, 3 and most of 4 coming up on Wednesday...
I'm finished up to chapter 9 ready to do probability over the holidays.

We've completed Relations and Functions, Calculus and algebra, and currently halfway through circular functions. We covered a fair few chapters relating to these topics from the cambridge essentials book and we've had two sacs already

We finished the logs and exponential unit just this week. We're now just doing analysis until the holidays and then first week back, we have a SAC.

Had a SAC about 4 weeks ago on functions, got a G. Missed out on top cohort by 2 marks lol, but I made a lot of errors.

A lot's gonna change for term 2. :)

Wow, looking at this, we're REALLY REALLY far behind. We're halfway through chapter 3 in Maths Quest. :/ Guess I have to start working ahead in the holidays!

This seems to be about the right pace from a school perspective.
Any faster, and the teacher would be rushing it.

(the above does not apply to any self- study individual students might be doing )
