Human Rights Law

(1/1)

Jayward:
What is the demand for human rights lawyers in australia, and is the salary stable? Im a bit indecisive about career options, and i became interested in this, so I would be happy with any input!

ninwa:
Not high, and not well. Everyone wants to do it so you have to be brilliant. And you'd probably end up going overseas since Australia's not really a great market for human rights violations (fortunately)

Jayward:
Ah right thanks for the input! That helped clear things up. Yeah I had a feeling it wouldn't be in very high demand... Ah well. back to the career options drawing board I guess. (Sorry for late reply by the way. Haven't been that active recently)

EDIT: so many typos. damn autocorrect

The term 'human rights' is extremely broad. The essence of criminal law is protecting rights, including those stipulated in the UN charter.  It's an appropriate area of law if you have an interest in human rights.
