Extra sub-boards?

(1/3) > >>

pi:
Just a few ideas I had while I was supposed to be studying, a couple of extra sub-boards for organisation and ease of access.

Subforum for selective school tests
Currently here -> Other. Bit of an issue as it's in with other test threads and is not technically a "National Education" matter, but moreso a Victorian one given the types of threads there. Originally, all of these threads were in Victorian Education Discussion which made it hard to find them all (especially as those wanting to find them would usually be new members). Possibly making a sub-board for this, called "Victorian Selective and Scholarship Entry Tests", with others for the other states too.

Any thoughts?

Splitting up Health sciences
All of the other uni "class of degrees" have been split, and I think this one needs it too. Possible sub-boards (for ease of access) could include:

* Medicine and Surgery
* Dentistry
* Nursing, Optometry, Physiotherapy and OthersAny thoughts on this?

Also, possibly moving Biomedicine into the "Health Sciences" board to get a bit more traffic and questions posted there instead of in General University Discussion and Queries.

Thoughts again?

:)

I like this, but the obvious concern that comes to mind is that the subforums become too cluttered and compartmentalised.

That said, I'd like the Biomed board to have more traffic (especially so that the many biophysics question I have can get answered :P). At Monash, it's under the purview of Med, Nursing and Health Sciences so I can't see any reason not to move it.
