Data Analysis SAC

By now, many schools would have finished their data analysis sac (our school finished not too long ago, still waiting for results). I was wondering how everyone went about it as it is worth quite a lot.  :-\

So, how did everyone go?   :)

Our Core module, so to speak, was divided into three sections, and done over term 1.

(a) Univariate Data - 100%
(b) Regression/Transformations = 100%
(c) Time Series = 100%

So I basically got 40/100 so far for the core, and I currently hold #1 rank in my cohort of 60 students.

haha nice :P
We didn't get tested on time series, no idea why

Wow you're scoring consistently.

Different schools do modules in different orders.

I've done core and finished number patterns, but a friend of mine did geometry and trigonometry first.

How did I go? Haha I would've loved to have aced the SAC but I think a few of the "comment" questions tripped me up. Oh well, I should still be ranked pretty well.
vce:
2013: Further [50] (+Premier's) | Methods [48]
2014: Physics [50] | Specialist | Accounting | English Language || ATAR: 99.70 + Australian Student Prize!
uni:
2015: Bachelor of Commerce and Engineering (Honours)

I think that teachers for Further Mathematics, and assessors alike, are really meticulous when it comes to the comments (e.g. comment on the scatterplot, interpretations of coefficient of determination, etc) because its ultimately those comments that can distinguish the A+ students from the A students, because the arithmetic Math component is so straight-forward.

What modules does your school do?

Our school does:
(1) Module One: Number Patterns and Applications
(2) Module Three: Graphs and Relations
(3) Module Six: Matrices and Applications.

I think the modules my school has chosen are good :) Loving Further Mathematics to be honest.

Number Patterns and Applications, Geometry and Trigonometry and Business Related Mathematics.

Hmm having finished the course and into many study guides, I am not finding Further Mathematics too interesting, oh well though, it was the choice I made.

Yeah I definitely love Methods more, but Further Maths is just easier + if you are able to rectify tiny errors like silly mistakes, you'll do well at it. I'm hoping that Further Maths will be a 50 for me, but we'll just have to wait and see :)
