Hey guys, I have a SAC at the start of next week on methyl salicylate,

We've already done some practice esters but this one with salicylic acid seems a lot more complex, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey guys, I have a SAC at the start of next week on methyl salicylate,
it's one of those professional QATs sacs, has anybody done it?

We did a QATs sac earlier on wine and it had random pH questions out of nowhere with stuff relating to Unit 4 content on pH and equilibrium when it was specifically the Unit 3 Extended Experimental Investigation prac!? I got the question right ONLY out of remembering what my teacher said last year on temperature and pH. But the random nature of such QATs sacs makes me sort of anxious because the questions are so out of the blue  ???
We did the salicylic acid last week. Do you have any questions in particular? It wasn't very hard, don't worry.

I guess the only way to go about it is to look at everything there is to know about esters and esterification...That is the only way you can be confident that they can't jump any questions on you because you already know all the concepts! All the best!
