this is very very urgent!!!!!!

Is chunking an elaborative rehearsal or maintenance rehearsal?????

which rehearsal does chunking fall under?

I'm fairly sure it's elaborative rehearsal, as your relating the new information to information that you're already familiar with.

It's neither. It's in short term memory and it is when similar items are grouped together and remembered as a single piece of information. It's purpose is to allow more stuff to be processed in short term memory, :)
