Just completed outcome 3/ Yakult. You have to know your operations strategies e.g use of tech, facilities and design layout, m.m, quality management and ethics management thoroughly. tbh it was fairly easy but my case study on yakult was 4 pages long :o

Did mine today, but not on Yakult. Was on some furniture manufacturing company. I originally thought I was going to get 100%, but now I think I will drop 4 marks due to my reasoning with the facility layout I thought would be good for the furniture manufacturing company, but we'll see.

Got owned on this one. 31 1/2 marks out of 40 I think. :(

The comparing and contrasting structures got me, I ended up with around 80/100 for the unit, lower than I expected but hopefully I can bump it up come exam time :D

I did mine recently, however this thread rather intrigued me.

As Mr Keshy mentioned, the compare questions are tough. I recently had my sac and on it was an eight mark compare question. The compare questions are tough. however, I feel that dividing answers into paragraphs helps a lot and allows your teacher (and at the end of the year your assessor) to easily follow your response and see what you are saying.

Yeah, I generally separate my paragraph based on the mark structure, and the wording of the question. It's easier for me to proof read too, just an added bonus.

Because for example, in a three mark question. The teacher could be looking for the definition of a management structure, the type of structure itself, and an example. So if I separate each part into paragraphs, it essentially means he can read each paragraph and theoretically, tick each paragraph as a mark. And if I wanted to argue a point after receiving my marks, again, there's an added bonus of it being easier.

You have an excellent point there and you're quite right, it places you in a beneficial position as the assessor does not have to strain to look for the answer (remember they're on our side), it is right there for them as it is for your teacher.
Generally, any question greater than or equal to six marks I would prefer to segregate into paragraphs. Generally speaking though, the definitions in these types of questions are only one sentence or two so I tend to keep them bunched with my 'first paragraph'. When I say definition I mean basically a one liner :P

How did everyone find their operations sac besides the compare question?

I found my SAC okay, was a bit disappointed with my result. I lost a few marks because of my lack of an indepth response, lol.

My teacher told us we will lose marks if we don't do paragraphs? lol, maybe it was just a scare tactic in order for us to start paragraphing our work.

I can understand that one.

Haha, I don't think they can actually take off marks for not paragraphing, however, paragraphing your responses IMO helps add clarity to your responses.
