I don't know about biochemistry but if I am not mistaken they usually budge only a few, if any. He'd be lucky to get in 5th. I need a second opinion on this.

:S I was thinking of doing painting techniques (summer/winter intensive). Has anyone done it before? or know anyone who's done it?
oh my god that subject sounds like so much fun!! have not done it, but definitely think i will. (but paint is so expensive fdaygdajfhkfk life of a poor university student)
and also with folio subjects, you can turn in work that you've made in the past really;; so if you wanted you could start on your folio now. if you already have some work, even better.

@muuru, the one i did was specifically a breadth, which was probably why it was so bludgy. i'm positive that if you wanted to actually study finearts, it would be an insane workload. sleep?whatisthatthingyouspeakof?

Well I would probably wait for someone else to confirm what I think is right based on a few observations/discussions.

Can't say that I'm displeased :P The two clashes are irritating, but the workshop on the Monday only occurs 6 out of the 12 weeks, and I know for a fact that all the English lectures are recorded.

Going to need to force myself to get out of bed on Wednesdays haha. Luckily choir practice is on in the evenings and I have to tutor so hopefully that's enough motivation to make me go to non-compulsory lectures earlier. Sigh.

I got into class 5 on Thursday. Lucky I came on early to register, some of my friends went on and got stuck with some pretty bad times.

By the way, anyone know if it's difficult odds to get into a subject if your wait listed?

Oh shoot. By the time they finally solved my prereq issue, class 5 was filled.

Does it really matter if the class is a lecture though? (I'm assuming) You should still be free to attend even if you're waitlisted

I'm in class 5 for the Path prac too. But don't worry W313B/P is in the same room. So class 5 and 6 is pretty much just 1 class.

He's wait listed on both lectures and tutorial. I think it's more because they may have reached the maximum amount of students for the subject, not necessarily there being room in the lecture to attend. Not sure what will happen

Ah ok, let's see each other on Thursdays then! :D

Well this sem's cohort for biochem20002 was 750 people (pretty big). He'll/she'll probably do fine.

Why's biochem20002 so popular?

I'm guessing that because biochemistry, aside from being its own discipline, also supports others such as pathology, as has become a prerequisite for subjects with those majors as well.

The major of biochemistry itself is also most versatile in terms of careers in comparison to other majors.
